Jason Soto

Corporate Relations

Jason grew up in Oxnard, California and attended Oxnard High School's Hospitality and Tourism classes which secured him an internship with the Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach Resort.

Jason eventually moved to Orange County and worked at such iconic resorts as The Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel in Dana Point and Four Seasons Newport Beach before making his way to Las Vegas working for the Four Seasons Las Vegas.

After nearly eight years in the hospitality industry Jason was hired by United Way of Southern Nevada as a Development Officer managing the hospitality, gaming, business, and education sectors. In the campaign year ending in 2012, Jason raised $1.7 million dollars to help improve education, access to healthcare and financial stability for individuals in Southern Nevada.

Jason was then promoted to Young Philanthropist Society (YPS) Director, where he spearheaded a group of 60 community leaders committed to create lasting change through philanthropic efforts, advocacy and volunteerism.

After working for United Way for nearly nine years Jason became Corporate Relations Manager at The Mob Museum in downtown Las Vegas where he created a fundraising strategy to increase support from corporations and businesses.

Jason had no idea that one day he would be helping individuals that are facing some of same challenges he faced at a younger age and he is extremely excited to be working for Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada to help provide quality health care and support for people without access to health care in Southern Nevada.
