New and Returning Volunteers
Are you a new volunteer looking to join Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada? Great! Volunteers are the heart and soul of our clinic, the power behind our work, and the reason we are able to care for patients without charge.
To become a volunteer:
- Complete the volunteer application online by CLICKING HERE – be sure to use a username and password that you’ll remember.
- At the end of application, you will be asked to register for a volunteer orientation. Volunteer orientation and job-appropriate training is required for our organization. In some cases this will be 8–10 hours total over a period of several days.
- For Medical Professional Volunteers: Prior to volunteering as a medical professional with VMSN, all healthcare providers must complete the appropriate credentialing application and provide copies of all applicable licenses in order to be submitted for approval to VMSN’s Credentialing Committee. Click here to learn more about the credentialing process and download the appropriate credentialing application.
The username and password you create for your volunteer application is what you will use to login to the Volunteer Portal and how you sign in and out during your volunteer shifts at the clinic.
For volunteers who signed up prior to September 1, 2015, a username and password was created for you using your e-mail address and a default password. The default password was e-mailed to your e-mail address on file. You can update your username and password in your volunteer profile within the portal.
