Patient Communication

Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada is committed to serving our community throughout this unprecedented event. We have been working on enhancements within the office to manage infection control prior to fully reopening, and are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines.

All medical and pharmacy staff is working at the clinic for normal business hours fielding phone calls, filling prescriptions, triaging patient needs and seeing patients by appointment only. Patients will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms over the phone when appointments are made and outside the building when they arrive for their appointment prior to entering the clinic.

VMSN is a vital resource in our community and from the start of this crisis, we have been evaluating various options to be able to serve as many people with as many of our services as possible. We are utilizing telehealth technology allowing for patients to still see their provider without having to come to the clinic, when appropriate. As of mid-May we returned to in-person patient visits as well.
