Meet our Staff
Having been away for the past few years where she pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications while playing softball on scholarship at Villanova University (go wildcats!), Lisa returns to her roots in Las Vegas as the Volunteer Director with VMSN. While away, she lived in various locations – Boca Raton, Florida; Tucson, Arizona; and Los Angeles, California – but eventually discovered Nevada’s state song to be true: Home Means Nevada.
It was while living in Tucson, Arizona where Lisa worked for both the Girl Scouts and Boys & Girls Club that she discovered her passion for working in nonprofit organizations. While there, she worked as Community Enrichment Manager and Manager of Volunteerism where she gained valuable experience overseeing large-scale programs, which is useful in her work with VMSN where she has been employed since June 2015. While here, Lisa has already made great strides in managing and directing the volunteer department - increasing monthly volunteer hours by 57%, successfully hiring and training VMSN’s new Volunteer Coordinator, and aims to reach over $1,000,000 in valued time donated by volunteers in VMSN’s new fiscal year.
When she is not in the clinic, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and son. They enjoy being active together playing in parks, running, swimming, and working out in general.
